Announcement of photographers for the 17th Zoom Photo Festival

The Zoom Photo Festival is proud to unveil the list of photojournalists selected for its 17th edition! They will be visiting Saguenay for the grand launch this fall. The only Canadian festival entirely dedicated to photojournalism and documentary photography will take place from October 7 to November 1, 2026.

Their documentary work, captured from all four corners of the globe, will be presented to the public through striking exhibitions. The stories of these visual professionals were carefully chosen for their subject matter, relevance, and connection to the theme of our 2026 edition : PROPAGANDA, LIES, AND RESISTANCE.

Furthermore, as it is every year, the World Press Photo exhibition will be included in the Zoom Photo Festival programming. It will once again be presented at the Musée régional de La Pulperie de Chicoutimi.

The festival team is currently hard at work planning activities for this flagship autumn event in Saguenay, and has some wonderful surprises for the public!

The organization would also like to thank all the photographers who submitted their projects. It is thanks to your continued interest that this festival lives on!
